I have always been a big fan of birds. My most remembered childhood pet was a little blue parakeet that my brother and I deeply loved.

As I travel around the world I have seen some amazing birds over the years. I am constantly in awe of their amazing beauty and intelligence.

My recent encounters with the local owls at the Shawangunk Grasslands National Refuge has been my favorite. Check out the owls I photographed last winter.
